The Sony's image quality is generally excellent
And more or less comparable to the GoPro Hero 3+ Black. Many people will prefer the punchier colors out of the box. Battery life is fan-freakin-tastic

High bitrate recording and a bunch of extra features like GPS make this Sony's best Action Cam so far

I experienced major software issues with constant card failures. The waterproof housing is only waterproof to 16 feet
Which is ridiculous
And water really sticks to the lens. The surf mount is totally unusable
And a sure recipe for losing your camera
Video quality suffers in low-light situations
Even on overcast days. Shallow water depth limit
The live view remote can't be used for photo or video playback
And a microSDXC card is needed for high bitrate recording. Exposure during regular 28Mbps video recording is uneven

Что ж, Sony сделала очередную попытку создать востребованную и качественную экшн-камеру. Некоторые пункты определенно удались — надежный корпус, разнообразие режимов съемки с новой прошивкой, несколько интересных аксессуаров, связка модулей GPS-Wi-Fi-NFC...
