The editors didn't like

  • Camera's price is pretty high for a mirrorless model
  • No builtin flash unit
  • Battery life could be better
  • Camera will take some practice to learn to use all of the dials and buttons efficiently
  • No mode dial is used
  • EV dial hangs over back edge of camer
  • ISO dial illconceived
  • No dedicated movie mode
  • Lacks 4K
  • Continuous AF lags competitors
  • Poor battery life
  • Camera Review
  • Fujifilm's XPro2
  • Battery life can get drained quickly
  • But they'll probably fix that
  • The Fujifilm X Pro 2 is a camera that I'm absolutely going to purchase. Why
  • Below average AF speed in lowlight
  • Color cast with AWB
  • Lens obstructs OVF
  • Not ExposurePriority
  • Poor ISO dial design
  • Soft dial detents
  • Soft aperture detentsWith all current XFmount lenses
  • Video recording delay
  • Very short batterylife
  • Optical viewfinder not well-suited for telephoto lenses
  • Fixed LCD doesn't support touch input
  • Video limited to 1080p
  • Omits built-in flash
  • Expensive
  • Big and bulky for APS-C mirrorless

  • No 4K video
  • Fixed LCD without touchpanel
  • Fiddly ISO dial
  • Smaller EVF than X-T1

  • The weakest point is battery life. It sucks. Extra batteries are mandatory. The EVF is OK
  • But not not as vibrant as the XT1
  • Video and supporting features aren't cutting edge
  • Continuous AF Tracking lags the best in class
  • ISO dial is attractive but impractical
  • Battery life disappointing (especially when using EVF)
  • 'Texture' pattern can appear in images with lens flare
  • No US

  • Abstract:  I don't really have a whole lot to say about the new Fuji XF 35mm f/2 R WR lens other than its even smaller than I expected it to be. As you can see it mounted on the Fuji X-T10 , it's pretty compact – the X-T10 is already a pretty compact camera and the...

  • The image quality is excellent even at high ISO speeds. The outstanding quality of Fujifilm lenses is almost enough to justify the purchase of the camera. The classic aperture ring/shutter speed knob selectors is how it should be done.
  • The camera is unnecessarily large and heavy. It is heavier than the XT1 which has the same size (lower resolution) APS sensor. And placing the viewfinder at the extreme left of the body makes for awkward handling. And the LCD doesn't swivel. In 2016?
  • The Fujifilm X-Pro2 will appeal to the brand fans who own lenses and like the retro design and the over-all feel that this is a camera designed by thoughtful photographers, combining the best of classic camera design and function with the advantages offer...

  • 24Mp XTrans CMOS III, Traditional exposure controls, New minijoystick controller
  • Rear screen fixed rather than tilting or articulating, Low battery life in High Performance mode, Limited appeal for videographers
  • On paper the X-Pro 2 looks like a worthy successor to the X-Pro 1, delivering a nice jump in image size and more refined handling. We're looking forward to giving it a proper test in the near future to find out if its images are as good as we think they m...

  • With its refined build, all-metal body and classically-styled exterior, there's no doubting the X-Pro2's prestige status. But despite the massive improvements to its resolution, AF performance, and on-board technology, some of its features could be seen a...
