  • Abstract:  The manual mode lets you tweak the shooting settings to your own preferences. Of course there's an auto mode which uses the F550's robotic brain to work them all out, but experienced shutter nutters who feel they can do better will appreciate having the o...

  • Big zoom from small body, RAW shooting, EXR mode on main dial, GPS
  • No single-point AF adjustment, image quality may be a letdown at full resolution
  • The Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR crams a lot into a small body: if you’re after a wide-angle, 15x optical zoom lens that can fit in your pocket then the Fuji won’t let you down. Image quality could be improved, but the EXR mode goes some way to the rescue....

  • The Fuji Finepix F550EXR gets more or less everything right. There is competition in this group of cameras, but this camera is just about as good as any. Picture quality is up there with the best and you will find the features on offer very hard to be...

  • Original modes, such as EXR DR for boosting dynamic range, Goodquality build, good grip, Noise is handled realtively well, espeially in EXR SN mode, Responsiveness (once up and running!), Lens quality at telephoto settings
  • Controls and settings can be quite confusing, Lens quality at wideangle settings, Overexposure is a problem, Video mode (image and sound)
  • Although Fujifilm has changed the fundamental technology used in the FinePix F550 EXR, the camera still has a great deal in common with its predecessor. In fact, it has the same strengths (EXR modes etc.) and the same weaknesses (video mode, confusing ...

  • Abstract:  The Fujifilm F550 EXR is a mash-up of two types of compact camera: the super-zoom and the premium compact. Despite its slim, pocket-friendly dimensions, it totes a 15x optical zoom lens alongside a bevy of high-end features, including enthusiast-attractin...

  • Sleek and elegant chassis; EXR mode useful for backlit or low-light situations; 8fps burst mode good for capturing action.
  • GPS module slow to lock-on; slow startup time.
  • The F550 EXR is a capable performer that produces decent quality images with accurate color reproduction. However, its GPS capabilities may disappoint those looking to geotag holiday snaps quickly. ...

  • Appareil rapide (hors allumage), Fonctionnalités (EXR, pano, RAW, GPS.
