Small light design can be awkward with larger lenses (or if you have large hands). Tiny size means a small battery–buy an extra if you plan to shoot all day. Kit lens isn't great. Encourages selfies
Great image quality, Small form factor, Interchangeable lenses,
Clunky manual controls, No focus ring on included lens, Comparatively limited battery,
Panasonic's Lumix GF7 is a solid point-and-shoot camera that provides good value for money. Interchangeable lenses and a polished design give the GF7 a premium feel, but anyone hoping to do more than shoot on automatic modes will be disappointed. While m...

As with all Panasonic micro four thirds cameras, which all seem to share the same sensor, the image quality is excellent. The lens is good, if a little unusual in being of shorter focal length than comparable cameras.
There is no viewfinder and no way of mounting one. The LCD is fine, with high resolution, but hard to see in bright sunlight
The Panasonic GF7 is marketed as a party camera with the emphasis on selfies, but that is not the limit of its abilities. While it is petite, as well as neat and sweet, it is also an entry point into the micro four thirds system which now embraces dozens...
Snapshooters who habitually used monitor screens for framing shots will probably find the GF7 delivers the combination of compact body size and point-and-shoot functionality that suits them. For these users, the simplified self-portraiture modes could pro...
Big performance, little body. Panasonic's GF7 combines two of the most popular camera trends worldwide: small cameras and selfies. While that might seem a little desperate, Panasonic isn't sacrificing much to accomplish those goals, pulling no punches...
Tiny size and light weight, Fast focusing and shooting, Compatible with huge range of Micro Four Thirds lenses
Playback is slow and low resolution, Cheap-looking design, Image quality lags behind rivals
The GF7s touchscreen tilts upwards and forwards for selfiesAfter spending some time with the GF7, Im happy to report that its a very capable little camera. Indeed, Id be tempted to conclude that, aside from build quality and its slightly cheesy looks...
Absolutely tiny for a system camera, Very affordable, Selfie-friendly screen
Temperamental autofocus, Stripped back feature-wise, No NFC
The Panasonic GF7: small, simple and wallet-friendly Not every system camera can be a top of the range world-beater, and if you buy it expecting it to work wonders and deliver incredibly sharp, colour-rich shots every time you press its shutter button, y...

Decent autofocus system and performance, Wi-Fi improvements, small scale, good build considering affordable price point, tilt-angle touchscreen (with selfie position)
Battery life still brutal, panorama mode useless, screen reflections can make exposure hard to assess (no viewfinder possible), Lumix GM1 makes GF's position more questionable
The Panasonic Lumix GF7 gets plenty right, delivering an affordable, easy-to-use entry-level system that's not trying to reinvent the wheel, but build upon the series' heritage. Solid image quality in good light, a decent autofocus system that's har...
