Pricey. Fixed rear display. No EVF option
For its price
The NX200 feels light on important features
It lacks an option for a viewfinder
And it cries out for an articulated LCD. And while its shooting performance is fine
In-camera operations like playback and changing settings can get held up

The strong metal body. Jpegs from the camera lack zap — something fixed with the custom style setting. RAW capture produces noticeably better pictures than jpeg. It is worth the effort.
The time taken to process images is intolerably long and results in locking up certain functions. It is frustrating to see the word “Processing” on the screen and not be able to make control adjustments. Aggressive noise reduction at low ISO can't be turn
This is a well made, good looking camera that is small and light enough to suit anyone put off a DSLR by its bulk and weight. It produces decent images and it is designed for customers who are beyond point-and-shoot. It faces stiff competition from the Pa...
Snappy AF performance in good light, New iFunction technology, Improved build quality and ergonomics, Good range of digital filters, Expanding range of available lenses

Available in two different kit lens combinations - either with a 20-50mm or 18.55mm zoom lens - the price at the time of the Samsung NX200's launch seems reasonable, at £699 in the UK, and $899 in the US. While by no means cheap, the cost is on a par with...

To wrap it up, the Samsung NX200 is created with the more experienced photographers in mind, but our analysis show that it can be used by beginners as well. The 20 megapixel sensor is a great addition to an otherwise very attractive camera with good over...
For general enthusiast-level photography the NX200 is a superb camera. It offers all of the image quality and most of the features of a full-sized DSLR, handling and build quality are excellent and overall performance is, for the most part, quite good. T...
The Samsung NX200 feels like a delightful blend of mirrorless camera and digital compact camera in one. The ability to switch between manual and auto focussing and the zoom controls make the Samsung NX200 feel like the right blend between feeling like a pro- camera and something you’d spend more cash on. A handy dial up top lets you cycle through an array of options and modes from aperture priori
Ergonomically the Samsung NX200 isn’t the most comfortable of cameras to spend the day with. After a good fifteen minutes the hand grips will leave the sides of your fingers feeling rather sore. It’s not one to hold for long periods. Either sling it around your neck or carry it in a bag.
Compared to the big budget DLSR cameras, the Samsung NX200 more than holds its own. With the NX200 you’ve got the great picture quality of a DSLR with the compact feel of a compact. If you can put up with an awkward grip, the Samsung NX200 is worth che...
