Cooler Master CM 690 III 是相當經典的機殼，正式推出也有將近一年的時間，此次GREEN版本僅有添加顏色綴飾，實際上綠色的部份並不會太多，所以仍保有原本既有的低調風格，至於擴充及功能性與之前的版本是相同的，4個USB（2個USB3.0）、IO防塵、7個3.5吋、10個2.5吋、支援2組24或28公分冷排、快拆卸式濾網模組、可拆卸式硬碟架...等等，規格是足以符合中高階玩家需求。目前 Cooler Master 有搭售活動，CM 690 III GREEN 加上 GX II PRO 5...
CM 690 III 的外型感覺沒有過多令人驚艷之處，中規中矩的設計應該還是有不少"低調"的玩家喜愛，頂部IO防塵蓋的設計還不錯，但如果是拉門設計的話應該更棒，拆下蓋子之後有種不知何去何從的感覺。擴充性的部份很足夠，3.5吋有7個，2.5吋最多可到10個，且硬碟架可以伸縮，在硬碟配置上更為靈活。風扇的支援度也是相當大，整體可以安裝最多3顆20公分風扇（標準板3顆，透側板為2顆20公分），或三組12公分冷排，或二組24/28公分冷排，出廠預裝為前面板1顆20公分，後置1顆12公分風扇，對於一般玩家還算夠用，...
