Cooling efficiency vs tower-type coolers (single fan)
Decent cooling performance considering the design, Variable mounting to suit different motherboards and layouts, Variable fan control to suit different builds
Quite expensive, Not the best performing for the price, Would have loved a second fan
The installation of the C14S is something that is made super easy with the SecuFirm2 mounting mechanism that basically allows the cooler to be used on almost any platform with the correct mount, however out of the box it will support every modern day plat...

Improved design compared to its predecessor, SecureFirm 2 mounting kit makes installation a breeze, Very silent operation with good cooling performance, Better clearance for high profile RAM and PCIe slot, Noctua's premium fans and thermal paste included,
Has difficulty handling CPUs with TDPs above 140W, Would be much better if it offered at least 45mm of RAM clearance even in low profile mode

Now it comes to end part! We have a great time playing with this two beast. Look at that temperature recorded! Noctua flagship cooler, NH-D15S almost beat all the cooler out there even on liquid cooler. In fact, single fan is more than enough to tame any...
Improved cooling performance over the predecessor, Updated mounting mechanism, 6 years warranty,
Only 1 fan is bundled this time, New heatsink is a little heavier, With that, we tagged the Noctua NH-C14s with a deserving Tech-Critter Silver and Recommended Badge, Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to Facebook
So again, the Noctua NH-C14s did not deliver the best cooling potential ever, but the improvement in the load temperature is quite an achievement. It is however, slightly taller and heavier than the original but it is too little to notice unless you have...
