The editors didn't like
Very Short LifeSpan
Anything Greater than 1st or 2nd Generation Core should wait for "Skylake"
Power consumption was measured at the wall and temps monitored with Easy Tune. The system ran a full burn in benchmark for 30 minutes which is plenty of time given the warm ambient temps around here as of late.
Not As Fast As Higher-Clocked Intel Processors
Pricey
CPU performance doesn't break new ground overall
AMD APUs offer integrated graphics that are good enough for gaming
While costing hundreds less
Limited availability
Likely the result of 14nm node's immaturity. Unimpressive performance and poor overclocking potential. For raw power (sans integrated graphics)
Cool running, Performance per clock, Iris Pro 6200 graphics, IGP performance
Lower overclocking margin, Price point
Looking at the 5th Generation Core i7 5775C, it is easy to see how the launch of this processor could easily be bypassed by the masses with a Z97 chipset board and a Haswell or Devil's Canyon processor already on board. With either of those processors, yo...
"AMD has held the integrated graphics crown for several years now thanks to the powerful GCN cores in its APU range, but Iris Pro Graphics 6200 promises to change all that."...
Excellent power efficiency, Impressive low temps, Great CPU graphics core
Weak processing performance, Really high price, Soon outdated, Lastgen is mostly quicker
This processor is basically too little, too late, and its performance doesn't impress – neither does the price tag. However, the integrated graphics and power efficiency are undeniably impressive...
Which processor now offers the most bang of your buck varies per price segment. If you have a very small budget, in our opinion it is best to find an Intel Pentium G4560, which, given its higher availability, is less of a challenge than it was a few month...

Class-leading IGP performance, Compatible with existing Z97 boards
Clocked lower than i7-4790K, Limited overclocking headroom, Soon to be superseded by Skylake
The range-topping desktop Broadwell CPU, Core i7-5775C, has allowed Intel to flex its muscle and further demonstrate performance leadership in the consumer space. The chip giant can now rightly claim that its socketed processors offer the best CPU perform...
With a moment of introduction right before the coming of Skylake, the arrival of Broadwell to desktops is maybe strange. The fact that top-of-the-line model Core i7 5775C achieves a significantly worse clock rate than the fastest Haswell CPU (de Core i7...

Abstract: It's finally here, Intel's latest CPU codenamed simply “Broadwell” and today we have decided to pitch the new unlocked i7 model up against the previous i7 flagship model for socket LGA 1150; I am of course talking about the new Intel Core i7 5775C and Cor...
