The editors liked

  • Compact chassis. Interesting styling. Solid-state hybrid drive. Quiet fans. Good gaming performance.
  • Fast enough for full-tilt 1080p gaming
  • Compact and reasonably quiet
  • Customizable case lighting
  • Decent keyboard and mouse included

The editors didn't like

  • Needs two power plugs. External power supplies. Difficult to open case and work with internal components. Very limited internal expansion. Eco Energy mode setup is overly complicated
  • Two external power bricks require two wall sockets
  • Last-generation Nvidia graphics
  • CPU and GPU could be better balanced

  • At the end of the day the ASUS G20 isn't the fastest or the best gaming rig out there. And before anybody says it yes, you can probably build a gaming rig that has better specs than the G20. But then again, that's not the reason why you'll buy it anyway...

  • Good performance, Stylish and small form factor, Runs fairly quiet
  • Bulky dual power blocks are cumbersome, Not easily upgradeable, Expensive but justifiable
  • The ASUS ROG G20-AJ is a capable system for the lazy gamer. Everything comes pre-configured out of the box, and you simply have to plug in the keyboard and mouse (if you don't have your own), hook it up to a display (you'll have to get your own) and power...

  • Abstract:  A glance is all it takes to peg the ROG G20AJ as something for gamers. Not only does this desktop PC look very much like a game console, its angular chassis has customisable light effects (up to eight million colours) and labyrinthine markings said to be...

  • Abstract:  The ASUS Republic of Gamers G20 is an odd little thing. It tackles odd little problems in odd little ways, but despite its mixed successes it never sacrifices core functionality. As a result it's unlikely to be anyone's first choice, but remains a perfect...

  • I'm pleasantly surprised by the G20's performance and design, and truthfully speaking ASUS may have a winner on their hands with it. While the massive power brick may be the only design question here, the G20 still impresses with its killer performance...
