The editors didn't like

  • The system speakers are anemic
  • So for anything but basic alerts plan on buying an external upgrade
  • No reason to use the touch panel
  • Design is a little dated
  • No keyboard hot keys
  • No discrete GPU
  • Tray-load DVD drive
  • Expensive compared to rivals
  • Speakers are not equipped for serious music playback
  • No 3D card option
  • Webcam does not provide very good image quality
  • Despite a higher priced system there are no eSata
  • USB 3.0 or Firewire ports
  • The otherwise compelling monitor display isn’t as vivid as the best allinone PCs.
  • Display appears a bit dim
  • Matte screen dulls colors on videos. No eSATA. A couple of trialware/bloatware programs. External DVI requires an adapter.
  • Expensive versus competition
  • Tested model was overpowered for most office work
