  • Chances are that if you’re on the prowl for a new large LCD, you don’t have spreadsheets on your mind. When first encountering the HP LP2465’s vivid, clear 24-inch screen, you may salivate at the idea of purchasing it immediately and the...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The HP LP2465 24-inch LCD monitor is the newer, bigger brother to the HP L2335 23-inch monitor we reviewed a couple years ago. Designed with the office in mind, the LP2465 leaves some of the styling out of the mix, instead focusing more ...

  • Abstract:  Most of HP’s largest monitors are marketed towards businesses, and the LP2465 is no different. It offers two DVI inputs but no VGA input - we have no clue why they made this decision, but it was a bad choice. Most business computers only provide a VGA o...

  • Two DVI inputs, VGA-to-DVI adapter, above-average image quality
  • No HDCP support, limited inputs
  • The HP LP2465 is an attractive 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor that, while targeted at business users, is also an attractive choice for home and home business users who need more desktop real estate. The 1,920X1,200 resolution is great for viewing HD co...

  • Affordable; good for viewing motion-heavy graphics like games and movies; adjustable stand.
  • Lack of ports for consumer devices; loses contrast when viewed at off-angle.
  • Though the HP LP2465’s connection options aren’t quite as plentiful as some monitors we’ve seen recently, and we’ve seen brighter and more vivid LCDs, it is a good choice if you’re looking for a large, affordable wide...

  • Great image quality, highly adjustable
  • Limited connectivity, no HDCP support
  • Business-oriented monitor delivers excellent image quality and a highly adjustable stand at a low price--but its features are sparse.

  • Bright, crisp image; incredible contrast ratio; stable and flexible stand; fast pixel-response time; all the cables youll need are included; three-year warranty.
  • Limited video connections underscore the point that this is an office display, despite its large size; no media card reader; DVD playback is blurry at times.
  • The HP LP2465 is a great business LCD, should your workday require a huge, wide-screen display. Trouble is, Dell has a similar display that gives you more features at roughly the same price.

  • If you are looking for a 24-inch monitor for the home, multimedia applications or even to double as a TV, then we recommend that you go with the Dell UltraSharp 240WFP since it fits multiple roles. The Dell has multiple TV inputs including HDCP compati...

  • Abstract:  HP’s panel matches Dell’s in screen size, ergo-adjustability, and OSD offerings, but its port options are limited to two DVI-I (which can carry either an analog or digital signal) and four USB 2.0 ports. HP also throws in a bundled app that provides co...
