  • Abstract:  Both of Elgato’s packages come with the same basic three pieces: a black USB dongle, an extension cable, and a CD containing both Elgato’s own speedy conversion software and a plug-in that works with programs such as iMovie to help them create H.264 f...

  • Elgato's turbo.264HD is a great encoder for those who need to basically do a lot of video encoding and want it done quickly. It's extremely intuitive, making it quick and simple to use, and is also the fastest one we've tried to date. Using an...

  • Simple and easy to use, Works with iMovie and EyeTV, YouTube format support
  • Dongle is wide so youll need to use the extending cable in the box, doesnt save you masses of time
  • Yes you can already do this via iMovie or QuickTime already, but its a slow process and this should make that process a little bit quicker...

  • Abstract:  The original Turbo.264 saved time creating H.264 video, particularly on PowerPC Macs that struggle to cope with software encoding. The latest Intel Macs can encode in a fraction of the time, but this version is faster, can convert AVCHD footage, and ev...
