  • Very fast via USB 3.0, Strong wrap-around USB cable, Shock resistant casing
  • Bulky, Included software not great
  • It's not indestructible, but the Buffalo MiniStation Extreme makes a nice change from some of the dangerously flimsy external hard drives we've tested. It's fast, too, once you ignore the programs that come with the external hard drive.
