  • Small form factor, NAS features accessible to all with low price point
  • Could use more horsepower
  • Home and SOHO users benefit from the updates Seagate implemented over the Black Armor (USB 3.0, USM, hot-swap, encryption, etc.). They also receive substantial storage and the benefits and features of a NAS at a reasonable price. ...

  • Easy setup and HDD installation. Sharp, user-friendly interface. Anywhere, anytime remote access for users. Good drive recovery. Affordable.
  • Performance lags a bit behind some competing NASes. Poor online documentation

  • Reliable performer, Useful one-touch USB backup, Remote access
  • Power saving didn't seem to work for us, Supplied backup software could not be installed, MyNAS app didn't work
  • A solid 2-bay NAS device with two 4TB hard drives installed in a redundant array. Suitable for small office and home office environments where network storage for file access and backups is wanted. It can also be used for remote access...

  • Performance lags behind some rivals, Poor online documentation
  • While its performance is still good, the Seagate Business NAS isn't as fast as a few other two-bay NASes I've tested, most recently from Iomega and Synology. Seagate's business NAS has a friendly, inviting interface, and although it doesn't offer extra f...
