  • Abstract:  美國和加拿大兩地目前已經有專業的集體訴訟公司針對 WD 混用 SMR 硬碟一事，準備對他們發起訴訟，現在已在徵集購買到 SMR 硬碟的消費者來當原告。 SMR 一事，在四月的時候，有媒體收集了不少使用者在使用 WD 針對 NAS 用途推出的紅標過程中遭遇到的問題，如效能、穩定性等問題，並向 WD 官方求證了他們有沒有在紅標上面使用 SMR 技術。官方的回覆證實了猜測，並隨之引出了他們在紅標產品線中混用 CMR / SMR 硬碟的事實，而 SMR 技術很顯然並不適合 NAS 使用，消費者只能靠摸彩去購買表現...

  • 目前WD Red 8TB已經在台灣通路上市了，定價 $11,890元，價位高貴，享三年保固服務。換算下來，WD Red 8TB的每GB單價是1.49元，略高於Red 6TB的每GB單價1.43元，而單價最低的是3TB型號的1.28元。不過話說回來，因為NAS機台的硬碟安裝數量有限，而且硬碟bay數越多、價位越貴，換言之就是硬碟單顆容量是越多越好，免得硬碟儲存空間不敷使用，省得要動不動更換硬碟了。也難怪網路上都說，NAS設備的規格最好一次到位，有預算的話真的可以慎重考慮這款WD Red 8TB NAS專用硬...

  • ▼比較表在測試中發現效能讀寫效能和7200轉的硬碟差不多，但這僅對桌上型電腦而言看到的部分，在NAS設備中硬碟的可靠度和相容性也是很重要，在比較上省電性能是和綠標差不多的，但效能確是比綠標快上優上不少，保固方面以往的2年保固在紅標上則是多了一年為三年保固，讓使用者在使用上多了一年保固能夠更加安心，這邊側是提供給各位參考。...

  • Abstract:  最近家裡的 NAS 一直跳出訊息說磁碟空間不足，造成要備份相機記憶卡上的照片都沒地方儲存只好到處轉存在外接式硬碟當中，這次趁著搬家順便來好好來將手邊一堆外接式硬碟的資料好好整理一番，講到資料整理可是一件非常麻煩的事情，首先就是要先有足夠的空間來進行彙整後才能有效的整理將重複資料刪除，但是既有的這座 NAS 已經無法勝任這件事情了那又該怎麼辦呢？當然只好花錢消災了，還好當初這座 NAS 是 4 Bay 的目前只安裝兩顆 WD 綠標 3TB 跑 Raid 1 來加強資料安全性，因此還有 2 Bay 的空間可以...
