The editors liked
Outstanding mixed read/write performance
Outstanding sequential reading and writing performance

Outstanding 4K random writing performance
At high queue depths
Excellent 4k random reading performance at high queue dept
Class leading throughput and IOPS
Good boot compatibility with the use of AHCI (vs. NVMe)
Superb Transfer Rates
Great All-Round Performance
An Easy Solution for SSDs in a RAID Array
Incredible performance
Solid Design
Easy-to-deploy PCIe interface
The fastest solid state drive we have tested to date
Windows bootable
Easy to set up
Elegant design over previous model
OCZ's RevoDrive 350 is a decent value next to rivals by Asus
Mushkin and others
It's easier than dealing with separate SSDs
And it's crazy fast by modern standards.
The editors didn't like
Nothing to mention at the moment.
Low Queue Depth response time and IOPS remains limited by SandForce controllers
Lack of NVMe support translates to greater CPU penalty per IO
240GB model is excessively costly given the specs list it at half the performance
Possible performance issues
High Access Times
Very Expensive
Limited top-end capacity
Price puts it out of reach for many
It's pricey. Not outrageous compared to 2011's RevoDrive 3 X2 and not exactly a bad value
But at $530 the 240GB model costs almost as much as our entire budget box.

Ask me what is the most ridiculous prosumer/enthusiast solid state ever created, do not be surprised to hear the name "OCZ RevoDrive 350" as the answer from the man who wrote this review. When OCZ released the original RevoDrive back in 2010, it did not n...

When most people think of PCIe based solid state drives, they think that the configuration is built more for the enterprise market. For the most part, they would be right in assuming that there would be no place for a drive the caliber of the RevoDrive 35...
Historically PCI-E SSDs have been a hard sell. Other than their astronomical prices, a strict adherence to the data-only segment of the enterprise market precluded their use in most systems due to their financial and practicality limitations. Recently ...
Abstract: Part of the SATA 3.2 standard, SATA Express taps into the high bandwidth available from PCIe yet joins multiple SATA connectors together in a way that remains backwards compatible with existing drives. While many new motherboards include SATAe, we don't y...
Superb transfer rates, Great allround performer, Neat solution for SSDs in a RAID array
Very expensive, Niche appeal, Access times seem suspiciously high, Rival products just offer more
We liked The RevoDrive 350 delivers superb all-round performance. The sequential transfer rates blow away any 2.5-inch desktop SSD, and thanks to its RAID configuration, the overall figure for IOPS is also higher than any other desktop SSD. As it's effect...

Looking over the current OCZ product line up above, we see that the company doesn't have a poor performing product anywhere in the mix. Both the consumer and enterprise lines are streamlined with solid leaps from one segment to the next. I was surprised ...

Abstract: The first generation of native PCI-Express SSDs arrived on the market this year, albeit a little later than expected. At any rate, some of these SSDs seem to live up to the promise of providing a faster interface. We tested SSDs by Plextor, Kingston, Sa...
