The editors didn't like
3year warranty is good
But beaten by the Intel 520's 5year rating
Possible high power consumption figures reported with the 512GB model.
Still has weaker 4K random write speeds than other SSDs
Slower than other drives when doing random writes
Not Available Yet
Pricing Uncertain At The Moment
Performance during intensive applications not the fastest available
A little pricey for the capacity
Expensive
Random
Write performance sometimes shaky
Nothing to mention.
Due to the thin profile
The Samsung 830 series requires padding or a laptop kit
Which costs extra
To fit in most existing laptop computers
Write speeds cannot compete with SandForce SF-2200 based drives
