The editors didn't like
A tinny ringingwhine sound can be heard from the keyboard if you tap certain keys right
Lowprofile design means no cable routing under the keyboard
While with the K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE sporting regular MX Speed switches we needed a bit of adjustment time due to the fast 1.2mm mechanical actuation distance and was sometimes difficult typing documents without making mistakes
With the K70 RGB MK.2 Low Prof
No Dedicated Macro Keys
Price (For Some)
Low Profile Keys Are Not For Everyone (Limited Feedback)
Expensive at MSRP
Although the sale price is attractive
Only one switch option for the SE version
Aftermarket keycap-set compatibility is still low
Not very low in profile
The low-profile version of the Cherry MX Speed switch is fairly redundant
And the stock keycaps can be better built
Terrible wrist rest
Questionable key feel
Clunky cable
Expensive
Minimal updates from previous iterations
K70 MK.2 Can get pricey
Strafe MK.2 limited switch types
Feels less ergonomic than a traditional desktop keyboard
Low Profile MX Red makes more drastic changes than the MX Silver we tested
Wrist rest feels cheap after Razer and Logitech's recent models
Software is comprehensive but as clunky as ever
Keyboard feet feel flimsy
Non-standard bottom row layout for keycap compatibility
Unless you were absolutely tied to the idea of low-profile keys, we'd probably opt for the big boy K70 over this. It's a fine keyboard with some smart features, but there's a lot not to like – and much of that is the fault of its switches...
Our Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile RAPIDFIRE review illustrates that this keyboard is deeply impressive – and that it doesn't lose out on much because its keys are shorter than conventional buttons.Indeed, they're a little faster than normal mechanical...
Fast, reliable, snappy typing, Smart, slick physical design, Plenty of extra features, Reliable build quality
Slightly different feel to full-height keys, Flimsy wrist-rest, Uses slow USB 2
The Corsair K70 Rapidfire keyboard has fast, comfortable keys and offers plenty of features – but it isn't the only option for rapid-fire gaming. If you prefer the feel of heavier, taller mechanical switches – or if you need lasers to provide more speed...

Taking an already-successful design and continuing to use already-great software, Corsair would have had to try pretty hard to make this a poor product. Thankfully, the swap to the new exclusive switches is a success and simply adds another choice for gam...

That's a tricky one, as it's a properly brilliant keyboard, and I'm sure it would make any gamer very happy. However, it is quite expensive, so it's hardly an impulse buy for many. If you can afford it, it's worth every penny for the refined looks alone...
Abstract: The latest low-profile update to Corsair's K70 range is the first change to the classic keyboard that genuinely adds to it. And that honestly means the finest gaming keyboard has actually just gotten better. The Corsair K70 is my favourite gaming keyboar...

Only USB 2.0 pass-through, No dedicated macro keys
Corsair hasn't changed too much with this iteration of the K70, and that is understandable as the K70 is one of the best mechanical keyboards on offer. What Corsair have done are made some small incremental changes that have altered the dynamic of the K70...

Abstract: Want one? Amazon: a-fwd.to/1OntLXO When someone says, “we've got a new mechanical gaming keyboard that is completely different than usual” I'm normally pretty sceptical, but this, the Corsair K70 MK.2 Low Profile. It's different. Products shown provided...
Sleek, low-profile design, Excellent RGB implementation, Rigid aluminium top plate, Well-suited to both work and play, Reasonably quiet action, Easy customisation via iCue
Wrist rest not great, Multimedia controls could be better, Keycap font an acquired taste, Still only USB 2.0 passthrough
