I have an old keyboard by another manufacturer that gets something spilled on it at least once a year. I take it apart
Clean and dry the plastic films that make up the switch matrix
And I’m back in business again. I wouldn’t want to try that experiment with this one
And I see no easy way to take it apart anyway.
Not ergonomic
No wrist rest
Glossy finish attracts fingerprints
No on-keyboard caps lock indicator. Although the K750 works on a Mac
I wish they made a Mac-specific version.
Relatively delicate construction
Missing keys
Comfort of fullsized ergonomic keyboards
More expensive than some competing compacts.
Glossy frame attracts fingerprints and smudge marks
Scissor-style chiclet keys and low-profile design don?t make for a sound ergonomic keyboard
Solar panels dominate the top of the keyboard
Loud keys
Touchpad is overly sensitive to accidental touches
Lies flat and can't sit at an angle
Separate number pad is easy to misplace
Typing ergonomically can involve a difficult learning curve
Can’t adjust the angle of the keyboard
Lacks special context menu button found on most Windows keyboards
Flimsy plastic legs prop up the keyboard
Shallow profile not to everyone's taste
No wrist rest or backlighting
Shallow Chiclet design
Glossy chassis shows smudges
Dust
No indicator lights for caps lock
Etc.
While flat slab design looks cool
Typing on it may be uncomfortable for some (kickstand legs help). Keeping with the “green” theme
There's no paper manual and the setup info on the box is minimal. Software downloads are Windowsonly
The keyboard lacks an integrated palm rest
Which may limit its appeal for heavy typists
And there's currently no software support for Mac OS
Windows-centric. Shiny finish gets dirty easily. No Caps Lock indicator.
Relatively delicate construction, Missing keys, comfort of fullsized ergonomic keyboards, More expensive than some competing compacts.
For obvious reasons, perhaps, it's difficult to do a definitive review of the K750. In theory, it could take years before drain might even start to take a toll. In the short term though, the keyboard appears to deliver on the promise of a wireless mode...

Stunning design, Superb typing action, Limitless solar power, no cables,

The Logitech K750 Solar Keyboard is a wonderful example of smart design, innovation and practicality all combining to make a class leading product. Given the low power consumption of keyboards it is surprising in hindsight that a truly independent, high c...
Abstract: Not everything is peachy though - the body is a serious fingerprint magnet. It may come with a cloth for wiping the dirt off, but why anyone would make keyboards with gloss-black bodies, I'll never know. Other than that, and the fact the FN key is to the right of the spacebar, it tick..
