QS1 switches are excellent. Cartainly comparable to Cherry MX, RGB backlighting is some of the best available, Solid construction, high built quality, Great remapping and back end customisation, Great space bar
Expensive, Not the best keyboard backlighting for the money, No wrist rest.
The Steelseries Apex M800 incorporates brand new mechanical switches which are comparable and possibly even better than Cherry MX switches. We don't want to delve too much into comparisons, as this is very much a personal choice decision, but Steelseries'...
Abstract: Keyboard reviews always seem like a silly affair. It plugs in, you type, the letters appear on the screen, the end, right? Well, not all keyboards were created equal, and the SteelSeries Apex M800 claims to be the first of its kind. Instead of the usual a...
Brilliant RGB lighting, Software has better control over lighting modes and macros, Keys have good feedback for gaming, Two USB 2.0 passthrough ports
Expensive, Bad typing experience, Applying and retaining effects are buggy in the software
Mechanical keyboards are expensive because of their unique feedback given from the tactile and clicky switches. This is absent on the keyboard, hence we are sceptical about the extremely high price on the Apex M800. The new switch design brings along the...
Abstract: LED lighting and gaming keyboards go together like noobs and tears. But in the past, LED lighting was generally just one color and mostly for show. Today, we have gaming keyboards with lights capable of displaying up to 16.8 million colors. These keyboard...
