  • As I mentioned on the first page, it doesnt make sense to outright recommend this board because it costs $375 US on average. If it had a specific reason to be that expensive, it would be one thing. But the fact is, this board includes the X48 chipset ...

  • Extensive feature set, Overclocking capabilities, BIOS, HD eight channel sound, EPU for energy savings, Accessory bundle...
  • Price...
  • Performance-wise, the P5E3 is a mixed bag. Running DDR3 memory at the same timings as comparable DDR2 kits did not really cause a performance loss per se, but once the memory speeds and CPU clockspeeds are increased, the board just comes alive with pe...

  • ASUS has been one of the biggest motherboard producers in history; there are only a few companies with as much of a diverse product portfolio as the ASUS company, and they are the likes of MSI and GIGABYTE who are ASUS’ main competitors. As always, t...

  • Abstract:  Seven expansion slots help P5E3 Premium buyers adapt to currently-changing card interfaces, by providing two PCI Express x1 slots plus two traditional PCI slots. One of each is found above the uppermost PCI Express x16 slot, but the position of the DIMMs...

  • Intel would have you believe that the X48 chipset offers features never seen before, but the only difference of note is the official support for a 1,600MHz FSB. We say official, as even the P35-based Asus P5K Premium WiFi-AP can manage an FSB of well...
