The display is a little disappointing despite being an IPS panel. The base model has a smallish 256GB SSD that's filled with preinstalled software and apps
fairly well built; decent keyboard and good trackpad; performs well, runs cool and not very noisy; decent battery life; fairly good speakers; affordable price
bulky and heavy; the design is a bit excessive for my taste; our test version comes with a crappy screen, but most retail models will get a much better IPS panel
With its excellent price, the Aspire VX15 offers solid value for the buck. Just make sure you get a configuration with an IPS screen. At the same time, while there's nothing wrong with any of its aspects and it performs well, the VX15 is just an "average"...
