The editors liked

  • It's fast
  • And surprisingly light for the amount of power inside
  • Slim
  • Portable design
  • At least for a gaming laptop. Excellent high-end components
  • Decent battery life. Plenty of ports and connections
  • Eye-popping 4K
  • OLED Display
  • Thin chassis
  • Great audio
  • Accurate webcam
  • Excellent Performance
  • Gorgeous 4K display
  • High quality
  • Premium metal chassis
  • Best chiclet-style gaming laptop keyboard yet
  • Great lighting and system customization
  • Respectable battery life
  • Great design
  • Effortlessly high performance
  • The 4K OLED screen is a beauty
  • Sleek gaming design
  • Soft touch finish on lid and palm rest
  • Comfortable
  • Responsive typing and touchpad
  • Great performance as tested
  • RGB lighting
  • Full numeric keypad
  • Plenty of configurations/customization options
  • Sturdy and subtle design
  • Fast performance
  • Great display
  • Excellent keyboard and trackpad

The editors didn't like

  • It's loud
  • And the battery life could be better
  • Portable for a supremely powerful laptop that is. The m15 is a 15-inch laptop
  • Which means it's already pretty dang big
  • And it's a gaming laptop
  • Which means it's got a lot more fans and heatsinks to keep
  • Consider waiting a few weeks for the latest RTX graphics cards. Adding better options like the 144Hz screen drives up the price
  • And the red color is only available in the top-end model
  • Loud fans
  • Mediocre SSD Performance
  • Pricey at some popular configs
  • Can get warm in spots while gaming
  • Expensive
  • Fans are a little loud sometimes
  • Mediocre battery life
  • Thicker than alternatives
  • Some configurations pricier than competition
  • Not as light as the competition

  • Powerful processor, Gorgeous graphics, Customisable options
  • Battery runs out quickly during gaming, Gets hot, particularly the keyboard, Noisy fan
  • Sure, the price tag of the Alienware M15 is steep at almost MYR 9,000, but you can definitely expect quality gameplay experiences with no compromises whatsoever. The biggest downside remains with how hot it gets and its loud fan, but if those don't bother...

  • Great gaming performance, Solid build quality, Display is nice and bright
  • Thick top and bottom bezels, Mediocre battery life, Relatively thick and heavy compared to other MaxQ notebook, No perkey RGB lighting, Ridiculous price
  • This laptop is ridiculously expensiveTaken alone, the Alienware m15 isn't a bad laptop. It's fast and well-built, and it'll serve you pretty well as a gaming laptop. But when you look at what the competition has to offer, it's difficult to ignore the m15'...

  • While it is expensive and not as thin as its rivals, the m15 does perform to expectations. But as it is due for a hardware refresh in the next month or two, it is probably best to adopt a wait-and-see approach...
