  • HP's Mini 210-2000 is a considerable improvement on its predecessor, the Mini 110, and has managed to iron out some of the deficiencies in earlier versions of the Mini 210, although the touchpad needs a major rethink. ...

  • Attractive design; Bright screen
  • Terrible power port design; Irritating trackpad layout; Unimpressive battery life
  • The HP Mini 210 might look futuristic, but beneath the shiny exterior lies a netbook that provides no more than ordinary performance. It also has its fair share of design flaws, including a badly laid-out trackpad and a truly baffling power port....

  • There's plenty to like about the Mini 210, not least the excellent keyboard. However, 802.11g wireless and a dodgy touchpad design hold it back. ® Netbooks Group Test Acer Aspire One D260 Asus Eee PC T101MT HP Mini 210 Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3...

  • Delicious design; Slim and lightweight; High usability
  • Weak battery life
  • It does nothing to separate itself from the rest of the 10.1-inch netbook herd, but the HP Mini 210-1156sa is still a well-designed machine. Shame about the iffy battery life, though....

  • It's pretty and light. You won't feel like a huge nerd bring this out in front of a bunch of Macbook'd types. It runs smoothly and Quickweb is a great addition. Generally sample kit is fun and we'd like to keep it, but we were really sad to part with the 210 and this review is considering buying one, The
  • The touchpad can be annoying at times. We wouldn't have minded some additional memory but generally the 1 GB fared well.

  • Good battery life, design and ergonomics, plus a reasonable £256 exc VAT price, mean that HP’s latest netbook immediately becomes one of our favourites. The Toshiba retains its A List crown thanks to a better trackpad and wireless, but it’s a close-run...

  • With its asking price of £309, the HP Mini 210 is almost unbeatable, but it could use some more features. In particular, we'd like 802.11n Wi-Fi, an integrated 3G modem, and a USB Sleep-and-Charge-style port would be very useful for travellers. B...
