  • Only 1.3kg, slim design, 13.3in screen, fast networking features
  • Screen has poor vertical viewing angles, keyboard is too ’bouncy’
  • the MSI X340 is one of the best ultra-portable notebooks on the market and should be a desirable option for anyone who wants something very light and affordable, yet bigger and easier to use than a netbook. It’s still doesn’t have as much powe...

  • Attractively slim, Nice screen, Reasonably sturdy considering slimness, Stays quiet
  • Cheap plastic construction, Horrific keyboard, Annoying Sentelic touchpad, MSI still not including touchpad drivers
  • Ultimately MSIs X-Slim X340 is a disappointment. It is reasonably attractive, if plastic, but its not worth the price due to the keyboard and cheap construction.

  • Abstract:  Physiotherapists may have lamented the arrival of ultraportable computers but their jobs have been safe because of the weighty prices of the MacBook Air. But not any more. MSI has launched an assault on the Air with this equally sleek notebook boasting...
