The editors liked
Excellent
Airy mid-to-high frequency response. Attractive design. Powerful output with little or no distortion at high volumes.
Excellent audio quality
Nice finish on all speakers
Good cord length
USB port for charging portable music player
Detachable speaker grills
Sweet
Tight sound across the board
USB charging port built into the amplifier.
Nice build quality
Including titaniumdomed tweeters. Satellite speakers look and sound sharp. Lots of color and finish choices
Like faux walnut burl. Crank up the volume without distorting the sound.
The editors didn't like
Subwoofer is not for bass fiends. Bass volume only has three settings. The external amp is fairly large
Heavy
And unattractive.
Less bass response than expected
Fairly pricey
Amp cabinet consumes floor space and must be within reach to use the volume control.
Over five hundred bucks and theres no remote? We like our LEDs and all but the big ring of them around the volume knob is overkill. Seriously

Abstract: Video Review: The Axiom Audiobyte Speakers come in several different color options and start at $349 USD, which is a bit steep for computer speakers. Driven by a 110-watt amplifier, the speakers accept direct iPod dock connection via USB or directly f...
