The editors liked

  • This allinone printer has high printing speeds of over 9 pages per minute
  • Skin tones on glossy paper are realistic
  • Very fast
  • Low black-ink cost
  • Fast. Ethernet and WiFi. Prints
  • Scans
  • And faxes over network. Duplexer. Automatic document feeder.
  • Fast and excellent print and photo quality
  • Easy to set up and builtin wireless networking
  • Builtin duplexing
  • Very large touchscreen
  • Fast
  • High-quality prints. Printing without a computer will save Mother's Day. Six individual ink tanks. Automatically switches between 2 paper sources.
  • Skin tones on glossy paper are realistic.

The editors didn't like

  • The Epson Artisan 810 has a very low resolution for printing black and white text.
  • Input trays are flimsy
  • Expensive
  • Plain-paper print quality is grainy
  • Sub-par text quality. Low paper capacity.
  • Missing information in instruction manual about CD printing
  • Six ink cartridges means more consumables to buy
  • Doublesided printing is slow. Printing 4x6 color images is loud.
  • Input trays are flimsy.
