  • Nearly three hundred bucks? Really?

  • Idering its restrictive nature
  • But if you’re only looking to use it for its intended purpose it is capable
  • No standard drivers
  • Which means you cant scan from within most programs.
  • Need to install software before use (not just plugandplay)
  • Not Twain/WIA compliant
  • You can only scan using the ScanSnap software
  • Powering via laptop USB requires two USB ports
  • Full version of Adobe Acrobat not included
  • As with the larger (more expensive) models
  • Carrying case costs extra
  • Small paper guides sometimes allow paper to angle
  • Doesnt work on Macs. Maximum 600dpi. Needs 2 USB ports without AC. Good lord
  • Nearly three hundred bucks? Really?
