Great improvements in speed in performance. 64-bit support. Updated user interface helps the mammoth app feel less tedious.
Slick new interface. Fast! Powerful pattern creation tools. Better bitmap tracking tools. Gradients on strokes.

Overall, Adobe Illustrator CS6 has less drastic introduction of tools. Most of them are improvements that add on to the existing features and performances. These make things closer to what our minds are drawing....
