  • Much faster document drawing with new GPU-based engine
  • 64-bit on Windows gives a large speed boost for huge images
  • Content-aware scaling gets good results
  • And its easy to use
  • 3D painting is well-executed.
  • Superior and responsive editing tools
  • Improved camera RAW features
  • Superflexible adjustment layers via convenient panel

The editors didn't like

  • Tabs and panes are badly done on Windows
  • And the perfunctory execution on the Mac is a disaster
  • 3D rendering engine is still very limited and slow.
  • Requires fast hardware and abundant memory for best performance
  • Mediocre text support
