The editors didn't like
Base price does not include Smart Keyboard or Apple Pencil
More expensive than last year
And accessories like the $159 Smart Keyboard and $99 Apple Pencil quickly jack up the price
Included charger is significantly slower than a USB-C MacBook charger
The included Lightning cable is also still using USB-A
Stil
Expensive
Using iOS for pro-level applications requires a shift in thinking
Screen technologies may be too advanced to perceive
The substantial overhaul to the Accord's infotainment system for 2016 didn't include the addition of a regular volume-control knob
Keyboard lacks a touchpad
Takes long time to recharge
Pricey when you add keyboard and pencil
Accessories sold separately
No expandable storage
Overpowered for iOS 10
Not quite close to replacing your laptop
With accessories
Starts getting expensive
Fast
Even with splitscreen
IOS doesn't feel optimized for tablets
Audio recording when shooting video doesn't sound great
IOS 10 not built for all this power
Accessories like the Smart Keyboard make it even more expensive
IOS 11 isn't available yet
Port selection still lacking compared to a regular laptop
Starting at more than £600/$600, the iPad Pro 10.5 is pricey, but you're paying for an impressive array of features that simply isn't available anywhere else. The screen is sublime, there's more power than you'll need, and with iOS 11 we're finally gettin...
For the 'average' user – someone coming from the iPad Air 2 or just looking to upgrade another old tablet – it's hard to recommend the 10.5-inch iPad Pro.Most people won't need the raw power on offer, and won't want to spend the extra money on the accesso...

The new iPad Pro 10.5in (2017) is a moderate rather than earth-shattering step forward from the iPad Pro 9.7in (2016).The headline enhancement is that you get a bigger screen, with less of an increase in size and weight than you'd expect as a pay-off; for...
Amazing audio, Smooth and crisp screen, Insanely powerful
High price, Keyboard is necessary but extra, Still not quite a laptop replacement
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro is a stunning machine in many ways. The speed and raw power on offer when doing pretty much any task on it can't be understated, and the upgrades to the screen are just beautiful at times. The issue comes when comparing what's on off...

Starting at £619 for 64GB and running to £889 for 512GB, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is a big step up in price over the tablet it replaces. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro cost £499 for the 32GB model and £599 for the 128GB model; this one is £20 more expensive for a ta...

Excellent display, upgraded storage options, faster processor, better cameras and a bigger display in a still-compact size. Faster refresh-rate display also means faster Apple Pencil responsiveness
Most of the cool new software features require iOS 11, which isn't coming until September. No newly imagined accessories and the ones you need (Pencil, keyboard) drive up the cost to laptop levels
Apple's 2017 iPad Pros improve on already excellent drawing, video and photo capabilities, but its true potential won't be seen until iOS 11 hits later this year...
Powerful sound from the speakers, Impressive display, Unparalleled performance, High-quality cameras,
Not the most affordable tablet on the planet, Overkill as a pure multimedia machine,
Last year's iPad Pro 9.7 was an excellent tablet, but its replacement is truly deserving of that ‘Pro' label. It's faster, with an even slicker design and truly fantastic image quality - even if the ProMotion display makes more of a difference to productiv...
