Frame loss in the UI
Cluttered magazine mode and settings area
Many services don't work in parts of the world
Low benchmark scores
No NFC
S Voice is useless
Colors
I'm really not a fan of the gold trim on these tablets. Now I might be alone here
But that's my opinion
The Back
I would have rathered Samsung stick with the faux leather for the Galaxy Tab S. I think it feels much better in the hand
TL
DR
If
Many apps not optimized for high-res display
Expensive
Mediocre Camera
Though pared down
TouchWiz still runs a heavy hand across Android
It's packed full of so much bundled software from Samsung and third parties that it will likely be confusing for first-time Android users
Samsung's optional cases and snapon design could be improved
GPU and Wi-Fi performance could be better. No word on an Android Lollipop update
Smooth back lacks tactile grip
TouchWiz UI means there's a bit of bloatware in the mix. That same plastic dimpled backing as the Samsung Galaxy S5 (although it does look better on these tablets)
Premium Price
Design language similar to Galaxy S5
Price
Software still not 'there'
SideSync 3.0 supported is limited to a few Galaxy smartphones
Performance dips with processor intensive operations
Uninspiring plastic design
Plastic construction tends to scratch easily
Fingerprint scanner is temperamental
The combination of TouchWiz and Magazine UX can be overwhelming

about it, Same old, boring design, Slightly outdated chipset, Somewhat clunky Fingerprint Scanner, Some features/apps are not available locally
Truth be told, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 doesn't actually differ much from the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 which the company unveiled back in January of this year. In fact, the only three differences between the two tablets are the display type, the materials u...

Abstract: I bought my Apple iPad mini two years ago because I found the iPad too heavy to carry around. But I now have little interest in 7-inch and 8-inch tablets because premium 10-inch tablets, such as the iPad Air, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Sony Xperia Z2,...
