  • Great screen, Family friendly design, Unmodified Android software
  • White model picks up lots of dirt, Storage can only be increased by 32GB, Average cameras
  • If you’re looking for a great value, entry level tablet for less than £150, you should buy the Tesco Hudl 2. It really is as simple as that. The Google Nexus 7 is a great alternative, but it’s getting a bit old now and its successor will no doubt cost mo...

  • Fast processor and healthy 2GB of RAM means apps and actions are speedy and smooth, very nice Full HD screen for the price, lightweight and premium feel, child safety options are great for a family with young children
  • The cameras are just ok despite being better than last year's model, sound through the stereo speakers isn't great at higher volume, battery life when running for a while isn't as good as some rivals
  • On this evidence the Tesco Hudl 2 will have even tech rivals worried and wondering how they can compete with such versatile tablet. And we even include Google in that, as the next Nexus has its work cut out - who'd have thought the prime competition...

  • The Tesco Hudl 2 has a sturdy, fun design, a decent screen and loads of info on how to keep your kids safe when they venture online. Oh, it's also incredibly cheap
  • The interface can be a little sluggish and the vast amount of Tesco software may dissuade buyers who frequent other supermarkets
  • Although it won't appeal to those of you looking for the slickest slate around, the Tesco Hudl 2 has the power, display quality and build to keep the whole family happy. The wealth of child safety features are a nice addition too....

  • Hi, res screen, Good balance, Parental control
  • Lower quality screen, Speakers facing backwards, Slightly sluggish
  • The Tesco Hudl 2 looks like a really fantastic tablet for £129. If you've got Clubcard points to spend, it can even go down to as little as £65, which is an amazing deal for such a high spec device (in context). There are obvious tradeoffs: the response ...

  • Abstract:  Nobody, not even Tesco, expected last year's Hudl Android tablet to be such a runaway hit, but runaway hit it sure was. To date, Tesco has sold over 750,000 Hudls so it makes a lot of sense for the UK supermarket chain to follow up the award-winning devic...

  • The Hudl 2 builds well on its predecessor to keep the affordable Tesco tablet concept relevant for late 2014. A better screen and speakers and faster processor is at pace with the increasing availability of high-quality multimedia, while the slick design...

  • With a price-tag of £129, it's hard to criticise the Hudl 2's specifications. There's a 8.3in Full HD screen, Android 4.4 Kitkat and a quad-core Intel Atom processor under the bonnet, features usually reserved for more-expensive devices. It's quite eas...
