  • Excellent controls. Very good level design. Same Mario charm.
  • Superprecise controls
  • Lots of secrets to discover
  • Mix of timed and methodical levels creates a pleasant platforming rhythm.

  • Uninspired. Squanders opportunities to make the game seem fresh. Coin gimmick doesn't add to the game
  • Too many levels are retreads of past glories
  • Coop is often frustrating
