  • New Augment system adds an extra layer of depth
  • Its Final Fantasy IV
  • But its also a great DS game with enhanced graphics
  • Improved audio
  • And excellent gameplay additions.
  • Some of the most memorable characters in the Final Fantasy universe
  • New augment system lets you customize your characters
  • New translation feels more authentic than previous attempts.

  • Still too similar to the original game
  • Extra content from FFIV Advance has been removed
  • Parts of Augment system slightly flawed
  • Some minor technical flaws could have been fixed

  • A fast-paced, entertaining and engaging storyline. Responsive controls and (mostly) user-friendly interface. Load times are minimal. The 3D graphics look better than ever.
  • Combat is much tougher than in your average RPG and there are many, many random encounters. If old school RPGs don’t float your boat the plot, characters and gameplay may seem a bit dated – even with the revamp.
