Huge amount of gameplay freedom
Involving turnbased combat system
Multiplayer modes add more to the experience
Improves upon what made Divinity
Original Sin so successful
As well as expanding on everything from the game world to the mechanics in great strides
Spectacular scope and depth that could easily keep you playing for over 100 hours
Detailed plot set in a world that seems completely lived in and authentic
Expansive tactical combat with seemingly unlimited options based on spells
Skills
Gear
And eve
A dozen playthroughs wouldn't show you everything
Choices truly matter in unpredictable ways
Voice acting brings this game to life
Multiplayer feels like pen and paper awesomeness
Dungeon Master mode is a wildly flexible feature
The editors didn't like
Uneven pacing
Difficulty that can verge on cruel
The way the game's own systems limit those options
Developer
Some annoying glitches here and there
Prone to difficulty spikes
Combat can be too unforgiving at times
Some puzzles are pretty grueling/time consuming
Various small technical flaws and glitches dotted throughout
Confusing journal makes it hard to keep track of individual quests and the plot
