  • Despite of the minor annoyances, The Witcher 2 is a great RPG and deserves to be called RPG of the year! The Witcher 2 looks great and very well-polished. The dialogues and the voice acting are superb too, making me watch and listen to every conversati...

  • Abstract:  There’s something about fantasy games, I’m not really sure what it is. Maybe it’s implicit in the name. Its many different, but not dissimilar worlds offer some of the best examples at escapism we’ve got. Throughout literature we’ve loved fantasy, gami...

  • I would honestly rate this game as one of the best games of its genre. The story is a little slow to begin with, it's true, but if you get around half way through the story at Flotsam, you'll find yourself a little addicted. While this game is quite linea...

  • PC gamers who played The Witcher 2 will point to the fact that graphically, the game suffers a little in its transition to consoles, but that shouldn’t stop console gamers from giving it a go. The Witcher 2 looks set to be one of the better RPGs relea

  • Immersive story; interesting characters; beautifully realised art style; enjoyable mix of action and roleplaying gameplay,
  • Some stilted facial animations,

  • Gorgeous visuals and seductive storyline,
  • Steep multiple combat learning curve.
  • CD Projekt has pulled off a remarkable feat by solving many of the previous game's shortcomings, simplifying and improving the combat and interface while developing an addictive storyline that ensures The Witcher 2 is the RPG gold standard. ...

  • Story, tone, visual style
  • Start is too hard, requires perseverance that might deter casual gamers
  • At times, The Witcher 2 seems to take a perverse delight in scaring off more casual gamers, but the story, the tone and the visual style are so strong that anyone with an interest in fantasy adventure should persevere...

  • Rejoice! The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings combines cutting-edge technology and presentation with a commendably old-school level of difficulty. This is one of the best RPGs of recent years. ...

  • This is overshadowed by a story that’s deeply engaging and offers thought-provoking choices that few games can match. The Epilogue will open up more questions than it answers, but when you look back at the tough decisions you made to reach your destina...
