The editors liked

  • The EVGA GTX 1060 3GB beats the Red Devil RX 470 overall in performance at a similar price
  • With one 6-pin PCIe connector
  • TDP and power draw are good and it is quiet in comparison to the reference GTX 1060 Founders Edition. ACX 2.0 cooling is very effect
  • The EVGA GTX 1080 FTX beats the more expensive Founders Editon in performance
  • And it beats its Fury X competitor in every benchmark at a similar price
  • TDP and power draw are good and it is very quiet in comparison to almost any other high-performance vi
  • Stunning (although truncated) recreation of San Francisco
  • Ditches the first game's boring protagonist and story for a more light-hearted tone
  • Trims away the worst parts of the "Ubisoft Formula"
  • Lively city
  • Likeable protagonist
  • Lighterhearted setting
  • Addicting coop
  • Improved hacking mechanics make gameplay varied
  • Great open world in the bay area
  • Refreshingly fun
  • With great characters and single player
  • Huge World to Explore
  • Great Characters
  • Main Character actually has character this time
  • Hilarious hacking abilities
  • Solid Gameplay

The editors didn't like

  • The video memory at 3GB limits the GTX 1060 to 1920×1080 resolution
  • PrecisionX OC refused to launch for us after activation. We probably left overclocking performance on the table by setting our overclock manually by being unable to use the advanced overclocking features it offers
  • Racing missions and some other filler
  • Oakland apparently exists just for some weird side-story about gang violence
  • One character commits a crime against humanity and says "Frisco"
  • Story is still forgettable
  • Most of the characters are forgettable
  • Game fails to maintain the same level of fun that it offers when playing with a friend
  • Some slightly unpolished elements
  • Can be a little confusing/unexplained
  • Stealth is a little touch and go

  • In the end, Watch_Dogs 2 is a fun and good looking game, but I cannot give it a very strong recommendation. Between the weak story and how some of the gameplay actually played out for me, all I can comfortably say is that if you want this game, watch for...

  • There are missteps. The worst moment of Watch Dogs 2 is the part where Ubisoft decided to play that “If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair,” song. Or maybe the part where one of the characters calls it ‘Frisco—som...

  • Abstract:  Watch Dogs 2 is a good game. Its much maligned predecessor suffered from a significant investment of Ubisoft marketing dollars leading to a pre-release hype level that the end product could not meet. For its second outing, Watch Dogs is now leaning heavily...

  • Abstract:  Ubisoft has released Watch Dogs 2 this year and it's a big improvement on the first game that came out two and a half years ago. I was one of the few people to actually liked the first Watch Dogs. I didn't mind the gameplay and the soundtrack was cool. Ho...

  • Abstract:  Vital as it is that everyone observes the lockdown as stringently as they can, being stuck inside for the foreseeable future is going to be a strain on everyone, and each person is going to have different challenges to contend with. Loneliness, learning t...

  • Abstract:  As a proof of concept for a cyber-drama take on Assassin's Creed, complete with all-encompassing hacking abilities, the original Watch Dogs really worked. Where it faltered was ... almost everywhere else. The chief complaint being that its protagonist, Ai...
