  • This is the 20th version of Madden and it is still developing new things that make the game better than the previous year. Once again this year is far better than last year with better online play, your Madden IQ, and if you want to practice before you...

  • Abstract:  Overall, the visuals in Madden NFL 09 for the PS3 are very well done and they are once again a strong point for the franchise. The team at EA Tiburon did a terrific job at re-creating the NFL atmosphere. The game has made some significant graphical lea...

  • Improved visuals; new commentators; impressive rewind system.
  • Questionable A.I. at times; online leagues have no championships.

  • Great visuals; 32-player online leagues; highly adaptable AI.
  • Not a giant leap forward for the franchise; numerous AI bugs.

  • Abstract:  Much like Christmas and Thanksgiving, the Madden franchise has become an annual institution for gamers. It might as well have its own holiday so that its legions of fans can celebrate the game properly. This year, gamers have reason to rejoice even mor...

  • Abstract:  Another year, another Madden. This time, however, we're celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the franchise. Consequently, the team at EA Tiburon has done their best to make this a true diamond of a sports title. Yet, the perennial complaint that t...

  • Abstract:  Football fans and PS3 owners, Madden NFL 09 doesn’t raise the bar but it certainly does a great job in bringing us a game worthy of the franchise and one that is inviting enough to please all pigskin fans. While the main modes feel relatively the same,...
