Reviewed on PS4Ultimately, Code Vein is a somewhat campy, but fun, breath of fresh air in a genre that has felt a little stale outside of games like Sekiro. The companions are fun, if a little one-note at times, and the combat is brutal, but exhilaratin...
Code Vein is shaping up to be a competent RPG that builds upon the formula it clearly takes inspiration from. Its tense, accurate combat and fascinatingly bleak setting combine to create an anime-centric experience I'm incredibly eager to dive into next y...
Abstract: It's insultingly easy to pass Code Vein off as Dark Souls for anime fans, something which many a website has done…but hot damn it genuinely is anime Dark Souls. All the ingredients are there for a Souls-like game, from overly familiar mechanics, weapon cl...
