The editors liked- Fun and rewarding directional attack system. Methodical and strategic combat.
- Multiplayer dueling is amazing
- Original & satisfying combat
- Wellexecuted combat system
- Easy to learn
- But hard to master
- Intriguing crossplatform metagame

The editors didn't like- Very intrusive UI. No thrusting stance or attacks. Latency can result in frustrating missed attacks or needless damage
- Single player ain't great
- Matchmaking goes on the wonk sometimes
- Singleplayer feels tacked on
- Some cheap tactics too easily available
- Currency takes a long time to acquire
