  • Wii Wheel is not as intuitive as you’d hope
  • Brings very little that is new to the franchise

  • Selection of courses new and old. Motorbikes available. Wii wheel control
  • Overzealous power-up AI. Too many boost opportunities. No free-for-all in battle mode
  • This version of Mario Kart reminds us why we loved the original so much. A Wii essential ...

  • Mario Kart : The perfect family/party game, GTA IV: An original free-roaming driving/shooting game, it cant be beaten
  • Mario Kart: Game play isnt revolutionary, GTA IV: Tad gruesome
  • For graphics, music and flexibility GTA is the winner, but we love the cheekiness and kiddy fun of Mario

  • New karts, new bikes, new tracks, Superb multiplayer, Comes with a Wii Wheel, Loads of multiplayer longevity
  • Single player replayability limited, Wii Wheel/ Wii Remote control a bit ‘dodgy’, 16 tracks just repetitions from previous versions, Opponents become real basts in the later races
  • So, if you haven’t got the gist of this review by now, here it is in a nutshell: As a single player game, Mario Kart still has that mass appeal but is of limited replay value. Once you’ve aced all the tracks and beaten all the ghosts in time t...

  • Gorgeous cartoony looks, fantastic online multiplayer, excellent gameplay
  • Frame-rate suffers in split screen, wheel a touch awkward
  • The Wii finally gets a classic racer that shortness aside, packs some major thrills

  • Abstract:  MARIO Kart Wii (MK Wii) needs a name change. And not just because its current title is a dull juxtaposition of the game franchise (Mario Kart) and the platform this instalment is for (Wii). This latest mascot racing game from Nintendo is still about zip...
