The editors liked

  • Fastbased action and interesting art direction
  • The action is inspired at times
  • And the shaky cam gimmick is unique
  • Even if it is nonsensical and a little nauseating.
  • Interesting visual style
  • Satisfying gunplay with weapons that really pack a punch
  • Multiplayer modes can be a lot of fun.

The editors didn't like

  • Story falls flat
  • Shaky cam is annoying
  • And a terrible ending.
  • A shallow story
  • Unlikeable characters
  • And uneven action bogs down what could have been a competent crime thriller.
  • Story mode is only around four hours long
  • Online modes suffer from noticeable lag
  • Limited selection of multiplayer modes and maps
  • Action doesn't take long to get repetitive.

  • Well written, very atmospheric, superb story, believable characters, reasonable graphics.
  • Only lasts a few hours, annoyingly temperamental cover system, fairly poor AI.

  • Abstract:  Name: Genre: Platform: Gaming duos are no rare thing. You've got Mario and Luigi and their quietly-bubbling sibling rivalry, the homo-erotic bromance of Dom and Marcus from Gears of War, not to mention the Freudian weirdness going on between the Lit...

  • To play this game is to feel for it. So much artistic talent gone to waste on an unforgiveably short campaign whose gameplay not only appears to be a forgotten aside, but is comprehensively irritating.Luckily, it's buoyed up by its unique and enjoyable...

  • Grueling, methodical firefights, if that's your thing, Multiplayer and arcade modes can be addictive, Shooting up an office building is unusually fun
  • Kane and Lynch themselves, Getting betrayed at the last second in multiplayer, Uneven difficulty often spikes to ridiculous levels
