  • Built with a tough thermoplastic exterior. Included LED light tip turns device into a flashlight. Wear it on your belt on Earth Day and you might add a notch to the old bedpost

The editors didn't like

  • Hard to find the right location to collect sunlight Wont completely recharge most devices
  • Not particularly rugged
  • Requires direct sunlight for effective charging
  • Adaptors cost extra
  • Cable connectors may come apart imperceptibly and prevent charging. Instructions may be hard to understand. LED indicator interface not explained well. DC to AC inverters may damage the internal lithium ion battery. Carrying case sold separately.
  • Must pay extra for other tips
  • Costs can add up quickly
  • Adapters easy to lose
  • Power indicator light confusing to understand
  • Additional iGo tips cost a piece. Charging through glass reduces efficiency. Is that a 7inch yellow Rocsta in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
