The editors liked

  • Near flat-response audio performance
  • With no distortion at top volumes. Detachable cable with inline remote and microphone for mobile devices. Comfortable fit and thoughtful
  • Simple design.
  • Comfortable wearing
  • Clear sound with good details
  • Very well balanced sound with mids and highs presence
  • Euro design
  • Real lambskin ear pads
  • Oodles of detail and resolution

The editors didn't like

  • Quite expensive. Flat-response sound profile might not suit all listeners
  • Thin padding on top
  • Weak bass response
  • Hefty price
  • The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 is available on Amazon for less than $399. This is not suitable for bass lovers but mature listening audience will love it. This is also my favorite closed-back headphones
  • Not vegan friendly

  • Great looks, Good sound quality
  • Expensive
  • The B&O BeoPlay H6 are classy, great-looking, good-sounding headphones that are likely to prove a smash at high-end department stores and airport electronics shops. They sit happily alongside the top Bose and B&W pairs in terms of sound quality and build...

  • Abstract:  When Bang & Olufsen gets it wrong design-wise (its comedy-breasts-shaped A8 speakers and new BeoLab 14 home‑cinema sound system), it does so in an endearingly dopey, almost British way. But when it gets it right (these headphones; the Beolit 12 picnic-bas...

  • B&O believes the H6 headphones are optimised for life on the move, but, if you want to travel with these bad boys, you need to have the space to carry them – or you can wear them as a fashion statement around your neck, because they certainly look good en...

  • Abstract:  B&O has further extended its BeoPlay range with a new set of premium headphones, the H6. The over-ear cans are designed to bring maximum comfort and audio quality while providing a decent level of sound isolation. The key here though is that they mix Beo...

  • Solidly constructed with beautiful design, Superb listening quality
  • Lacks any real add-on features, A bit too expensive
  • While having a headphone with plenty of add-ons does not make the listening experience any less enjoyable, it makes the R6 000 price tag a little harder to justify. To that end, when shelling out in excess of R6 000 for a pair of headphones, it might be a...

  • Qualité de fabrication, Esthétique sobre et épurée, Légèreté, Restitution sonore précise et transparente, Grave propre, Registre médium cristallin
  • Encombrement, Aigus parfois clinquants, Léger manque d'impact
