  • Sound bleeds out from the headphones
  • Bulky

  • Poorly designed
  • With bulky earpieces and problematic adjustable headset and audio connector cable
  • X-Fi CMSS-3D essentially useless
  • The Creative Aurvana X-Fi headphones are expensive
  • The design isnt that portable

  • Exceptional audio quality. Funky XFi technology.
  • They're heavy and not exactly eyepleasing.
  • They're ugly and heavy, but the Creative Aurvana X-Fis sound like they've been sent by Buddha himself....

  • Abstract:  With built-in Wi-Fi, this small-screen device is packed with features. Unfortunately, you can’t synchronise the device wirelessly, but you can stream media from your network if it’s available. The 2.5in display isn’t a touchscreen, so you need the but...

  • We would gladly forsake a lifetime of salt and vinegar pretzels and miniature bottles of gin if airlines handed out this noise-cancelling beauties at the start of a flight instead. Connect them to a music player and let the X-Fi gizmos squeeze every last...
  • Noise-cancelling isn’t as effective as the Sennheisers and Boses of the world, and you’ll either love or hate the artificial spaciousness of the X-Fi treatment (you can always turn it off it you don’t like it). Sound quality is great at...
  • If you’ve got room in your holiday bags for a plastic sombrero, there should be room for the Aurvana X-Fi. A great commuting gadget too, especially if not all your MP3s are ripped at the highest quality.Creative Aurvana X-Fi is tagged with Creative...

  • Comfortable, high-quality noise-cancelling headphones, with additional ‘crystaliser’ option for compressed audio files
  • The pseudo-surround sound option isn’t a major benefit, despite the quality this is still a lot of money to shell out on headphones

  • The Creative Aurvana X-Fi is not inexpensive. But the nearest competitor, Boses QuietComfort 2, costs just as much and offers half the features. Which would you rather have - headphones that merely block noise, or headphones that block noise and impr...

  • X-Fi makes music and movies sound awesome, CMSS-3D adds a touch of class, Noise cancelling works well
  • The steep price, Sound leakage
  • We first had a play with these cans at IFA in Germany back in September 2007. While we were very impressed at the time, with little chance to try our own inputs and have a proper play, it was hard to make any decisive judgements.Luckily, we now have ou...

  • Very Comfortable, Light, Good Sound quality, X-Fi, Noise Cancelation, 3D Surround, Good Package
  • Bass (X-Fi mode), Very Expensive
  • The Creative Aurvana X-Fi sells for Rs.19,999 with a one year warranty. Now, thats highly expensive. But most of the Noise Cancelation headphones from acknowledged brands are expensive. For e.g., the Bose QuiteComfort 3 are for over 21K. So, the prici...

  • All in all, the Creative Aurvana X-Fi can be seen as a definitive creation from Creative. Its ability to be driven passively without batteries is a plus point, though that means excluding all the bells and whistles of course. It isnt a perfect creatio...

  • The Creative Aurvana X-Fi is an exceptional headphone. The noise cancelling feature is quite astounding. With the headphones in noise cancelling mode you can barely hear your own voice when you speak, it really is that good. I managed to go a couple of...
