  • Devices can get out of sync if they are turned off at the device rather than through the remote
  • It's not cheap

  • Not a revolutionary upgrade over the previous flagship Harmony remote
  • No voice search capabilities
  • Limited to controlling 15 A/V devices
  • IR blasters not the best solution for an enclosed entertainment center
  • Poor replacement for a Sonos controller
  • Significantly cheaper versions like the Harmony Home Control can do almost as much. The battery only lasts a couple of days per charge
  • So you'll have to remember to keep it in the charging cradle between uses
  • Alexa skill is very limited
  • Easy to get started
  • But there's a considerable learning curve to master
  • Quite expensive
  • A bit awkward in the hand
  • Extremely tiny screen limits flexibility
