  • Beautiful design. Premium materials. Large display. Snappy performance.
  • The Moto 360 is stylish and comfortable to wear. It's offered in two sizes
  • Can be personalized through Motorola's Moto Maker website
  • And is one of the few smartwatches to include an ambient light sensor for automatically adjusting brightness.
  • Captures 4K 360-degree video
  • Stitches video in real-time
  • Also supports 360-degree and panoramic still images
  • Promises live streaming support
  • Very good looking
  • Available in several colors
  • Two sizes and there's a women's model. Much improved over first gen model
  • Bright
  • Sharp display
  • Excellent battery life
  • Snappy performance
  • Improved build quality
  • Syncs easily with Android
  • Moto Maker = geat customization options
  • Upgraded internals
  • The round design and the customization you can do in Moto Maker is worth the price. Still the best value in an Android smartwatch you can find

The editors didn't like

  • Display isn't fully round
  • Interface isn't optimized for round display
  • Heart-rate sensor is slow
  • Android Wear not optimized for circle display
  • Display again The flat tire lives on
  • Which is unfortunate. It makes some watch faces look weird
  • And it's surprising Motorola didn't address this obvious shortcoming. It's also LCD
  • Which isn't as efficient in ambient mode
  • IOS functionality is limited
  • Battery life could still be better — we have to charge our watch pretty much every evening
  • Would like to see more accessories like docks
  • Flat tire (the flattened part at the bottom of the watch face) is still there
  • The heart rate sensor
  • Like all of these green
  • Reflective heart rate sensors
  • Is a useless toy
  • Google's ecosystem still doesn't support Android Wear very well. Nest commands don't work
  • And Android's voice commands are more capable
  • When it's "off" the
  • Poorly positioned and disturbs the looks
  • Poor battery life
  • Inaccurate sensors
  • Wi-Fi sometimes unreliable
  • Expensive. Android Wear still needs work. Spotty voice recognition. Inconsistent heart monitor. Some display issues. Not waterproof
  • Battery life is short for a watch. Android Wear software feels awkward. The round display isn't a complete circle there's a black bar at the bottom
  • Visible stitch lines and exposure differences between two lenses
  • Purple fringing visible toward edges of lens coverage
  • Design makes tripod use difficult
  • Pricey
  • For those who want more than a second screen for their Android phone
  • Android Wear will still disappoint
  • "Flat tire" display returns for the 2nd year
  • Doesn't play well with iOS
  • Fitness tracking functions are hit-or-miss
  • Battery life could still be improved
  • Occasionally sluggish
  • Android Wear claims to work on iOS and it does but to a limited extent. Android Wear is excellent on Android devices but lacks good iOS integration which is due in part to iOS itself. iOS users should probably just get an Apple Watch
  • Not ideal for fitness tracking
  • Android Wear still a work in progress
  • Price is notably higher than before
  • Flat tyre display
  • Pricey proposition
  • Battery life is dismal
  • Flat tire look is distracting
  • Subdued screen colors
  • No major difference in the experience over other Android Wear smartwatches
  • Microphone issues with recognizing "OK Google" prompt
  • Infamous "flat tire" returns
  • Gets costly depending on preferred look
  • Price hike
  • Android Wear still needs some polish
  • More expensive than last year's model
  • Less useful with theiPhone
