It's much dressier than the original Pebble. You wear a nice watch to a wedding or a funeral, and you could wear this. Not the original Pebble, Swappable leather or metal bands, all you need is a little tiny screwdriver, Notifications on your wrist. Somet
It's the same Pebble in a new case. There actually aren't any other differences, besides a charging LED and a bit more memory, The Pebble App (for Android at least) is rubbish. It crashes often, loses visibility of the Pebble, and refuses to reconnect, Th
When I ordered the Pebble Steel, I was excited. I liked the original Pebble, and I wanted it in a fancier case. I watched the announcement at CES, and I was hopeful. That we ordered the Pebble in January, and it didn't arrive until April, didn't really hel...

"Wear it with a suit" pretty, Great iOS and Android performance, Simple mission
No notification customisation, No fitness applications, Outdated feature-set
If you want a smartwatch that doesn't look terrible and you want it right now, then sure. The Pebble Steel is pretty much the only option out there that combines the best notifications-on-your-wrist-ness of a smartwatch, the style of a legitimate piece of...

The Pebble Steel is a greatlooking wristwatch with topend construction. A growing list of apps can be swapped on and off of the watch, via easytouse iPhone or Android control apps. And, at long last, there's an app store.
Costs $100 more than the original Pebble despite offering the same underlying hardware. Only holds eight apps at a time. No microphone, speaker, touch screen, or color display. Fitness apps don't offer the same experience as a standalone device
Equal parts fashionable and functional, the Pebble Steel leaps to the top of the smartwatch heap, but does so by improving existing tech rather than adding something totally new....
Slightly lightweight still, UI can be hard to navigate at times
The first Pebble smartwatch was a breakout hit, but it lacked something on the style front. The Pebble Steel rectifies that to some degree, and does it without charging a hefty premium. Given that stocks are going to be limited, this is sure to be a sell...
Great design, Decent Battery Life, Intuitive Functionality
Not as feature rich as its rivals, More expensive than the standard Pebble

The Pebble Steel – the whole Pebble range – falls in an odd position. They're not fitness trackers, although they have all the basic functions of them and they're not conventional smartwatches – the eink screens just don't fit into people's perception of...
While the Pebble Steel (and any smartwatch for that matter) isn't going to replace an expensive 'real' watch as a designer piece of jewelry, it is a great everyday watch. Its simplicity and monochrome screen are its strengths, giving you a long-lasting wa...
Class leading battery life, Comfortable strap, Premium feel
Large bezel remains, Lost charm of original model
The regular Pebble Time costs a very reasonable £180, an extra £50 will get you the Pebble Time Steel. The ultimate question is, is it worth the upgrade? We were really taken by the regular Pebble's geeky charm, it was cheap and plastic, but still...
