  • Pleos emotions are believable Hes pretty cute You can maybe develop for him
  • One day
  • Very women and pre-teen friendly
  • Easy to use and good sound quality
  • Neat lightshow effects
  • Affordable price
  • Adorable. Lifelike. Smart. Has a personality. Changes over time.
  • Mimics natural movement well
  • Very interactive
  • Good battery life

The editors didn't like

  • Pleo truly needs a way to indicate when his battery is running low
  • Plus the battery only lasts for about an hour and a half of solid play
  • Pleo gets boring fast Are they sure it has sensors? The word "autonomous" doesnt really mean what Ugobe thinks it means
  • Would truly be an iPod shuffle competitor if it supported iTunes or AAC files
  • Pricey. Relatively short battery life. Audible motors. Soft
  • But not smooth skin.
  • Expensive

  • Abstract:  According to Ugobe, the creator of the Pleo, this is the very first life-form they have created. While a claim to have actually created life may be a little bold, theres no denying some of Pleos life-like characteristics....

  • Looks amazing. Sensors work well. Great repertoire of moves. Doesn’t need a remote
  • Are you kidding, it’s a robot dinosaur!
  • Little Pleo has stolen Stuff’s heart and helped heal the wounds inflicted by the departure of AIBO. He’s so life-like, it seems insulting to call him a robot ...

  • If you want a pet for your kids but cannot stand dog poo or cat fur, the Pleo might be the one for you, though it lasts only four hours at one go....

Jeder der ihn sieht, is...
